The Mormora a is an extremely versatile coffee and works well across the spectrum of roast styles and brew methods. Whether you want to use it as part of a blend to add fruit notes and sweetness or as a single-origin for coffee for batch brew or pour over, this coffee is a great addition to any menu.
The Farm: The Mormora Coffee Plantation PLC was established in 2000 and is operated by Wodesa Yachisi. The farm is 250 acres and also purchases coffee from family-owned farms located near the plantation. During the harvest, ripe cherries are delivered to the washing station where they are sorted and immediately placed on raised beds and dried over a period of 15 to 20 days. The raised drying beds are carefully constructed to ensure proper air circulation and temperature control for an optimal drying process. Wodesa and his team control processing, from drying up to the final export stage, to ensure the quality is maintained throughout every step.
